Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Barista to join our team at Dolce Italian Philadelphia. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies, while providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Take customer orders and ensure they are prepared in a timely manner.
2. Prepare and serve beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes.
3. Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
4. Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
5. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
6. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
7. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
2. Knowledge of different coffee beverages and brewing methods.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
